PixBar is looked after by one person, in the open. Help happens on GitHub.

Try these first

• Nothing appears above the prompt. Mods do not load in a folder you have not trusted. Answer yes when Claude Code asks to trust the folder, start a new session, and check /plugin lists pixbar as enabled.
• The usage meters are empty. They come from a Claude subscription. With an API key there are none to show.
• The pane does not open at startup. The terminal is narrower than 144 columns. Run /pixbar layout pane once it is wider, or stay in the band.
• An old version is running. Run /plugin, update PixBar from the list, and restart Claude Code.
• Your own skin is ignored. A file that does not parse is skipped and the whale is drawn. Compare it with the shipped whale.sh.

Report a bug or ask for something

Open an issue at github.com/ke11/claude-mods/issues. It helps to say your Claude Code version, the PixBar version (/plugin lists it), your terminal, and what you saw.

Report a security problem

Please do not open a public issue. Use GitHub's private vulnerability report for the repository.

What to expect

There is no paid support and no promised reply time. Issues are read, and fixes ship as new versions of the mod.
